Ian Copenhaver
Biomedical Engineering student from Elkins, WV
In the Neuromechanics and Engineering Lab, Ian develops virtual environments where amputees can safely learn to walk with prosthetic devices. “When you hear VR, you almost think gaming,” he said. “A lot of people don’t think of it in the the clinical aspect or how we can use it to actually help people.”
