English: Naval Satellite Operations Center (NAVSOC) onboard Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC), transferred to the U.S. Space Force (USSF), under Space Delta 8 and was designated as the 10th Space Operations Squadron. On 6 June 2022, a military ceremony marked the Disestablishment of NAVSOC, and the transfer of its mission, resources, personnel, and heritage to the new 10th Space Operations Squadron under Space Force. Vice Adm. Ross Myers, commander, U.S. Fleet Cyber Command / U.S. 10th Fleet, and Lt Gen Stephen Whiting, commander, Space Operations Command were in attendance.
