FablePool is staying alive.

Fable became unavailable shortly after it launched. FablePool itself is continuing — your account, your projects, your proposals, and every contribution are safe and accounted for.

No rushed replacement, and nothing forced. We're opening FablePool up to more models so the work can keep moving.

Where the community pointed

When Fable became unavailable, the clear signal from comments and feedback wasn't to scramble for the nearest stand-in. People asked for choice — the ability to say which models a build may run on, rather than depending on any single one.

So that's the direction: FablePool is moving from a single-model dependency toward model-flexible proposals, and we're testing routing and fusion approaches rather than claiming a like-for-like swap.

What happens next

  1. Existing proposals stay intact. Nothing is abandoned, reset, or migrated against your wishes.
  2. Fable-specific proposals wait by default. They hold their place until Fable / Mythos access returns — no action needed from you.
  3. New proposals get model choice. You'll be able to name acceptable models or opt into model-flexible execution.
  4. OpenRouter keeps the path open. It lets FablePool continue while Fable / Mythos access is uncertain, without closing that door.
