    ちょっと目を離している隙に、勤めている学校の図書館から忽然と姿を消してしまっていた本書は、「大和物語」に携わる人には「大和物語語彙索引」のためにいつまでも手放せない一冊です。結局古書で購入したのですが、だれかどこかでどちらかを改訂復刊してください。一冊にまとめてくれたらもっと嬉しいです。

    伊勢物語は大津有一氏と築島裕氏が担当。おそらく巻頭解説を大津氏が、校注は築島氏が担当したものと思う。

    仮名遣いは底本の表記を優先し、歴史的仮名遣いを傍記するというやり方なので一般向けよりも国文科学生など研究者の便を考慮したスタイル。校注は非常に丁寧に書かれている。

    大野晋・辛島稔子共著の伊勢物語索引はこの大系本の頁数行数で表示されているのでこの本が無いと研究者には不便というくらいの本。
