Delimitation is the process of reallocating the number of seats in Parliament per State, based on recent census data. Opposition parties have raised concerns that several States are set to lose their relative strength when the composition of the Lok Sabha is reapportioned among States according to 2011 Census figures. The Centre, however, has dismissed such claims.
