Individual Curriculum – M22 v4

Course Description

In Interactive JavaScript, the second course in Wizard Level 2 of our middle school program, students learn to add interactivity to webpages using JavaScript. Thus far, they’ve made sites using only HTML and CSS, which describe the structure and design of a webpage. With the addition of JavaScript, students can program more sophisticated web apps and games that include custom animations, have audio/video components, and respond to user interactions. After completing this course, students will have experience in the three fundamental programming languages that underpin all websites. They can leverage the skills learned in Interactive JavaScript in the next course of our structured curriculum, Web Interfaces.
