Immediate highlighting of SearchDialog found text (before closing) does not work on Windows in any current release -- 2.7.8, 3.3.5 (final release) and 3.4.1. Though I continued to use ^F, ^G. Mark Lawrence noticed this and opened #22179. I propose there to use the 'found' highlight, as already used in the replace dialog, for the find dialog also.
