A bit of extra context to save clicking through: the PR which introduced the regression: https://github.com/python/cpython/pull/12698 and the bug: https://bugs.python.org/issue36050 Maybe some people have context about why we couldn't just roll back that PR and increase `MAXAMOUNT` to something > 1 MiB and < 2 GiB?
