I'm aware that this issue doesn't apply to Python 3.0. I'm testing on both Python 2.5 and Python 2.6 for the purposes of the bug. Code I'm developing that hits these issues are database exceptions with unicode messages raised inside MySQLdb on Python 2.5. The patch I submitted is against trunk. |
