Welcome to my GitHub. This is where I work on backend systems, explore how software behaves under real-world constraints, and document things I learn along the way.

I’m Abdulmateen Tairu, a Senior Software Engineer with 6+ years of experience building and operating production systems across fintech, logistics, and AI-driven products. I focus on reliability, scalability, and understanding systems beyond their abstractions.

• 🔭 What I’m Working On:
  Building Haya — an AI-powered, Nigeria-focused talent matching platform. I’m responsible for backend architecture, data ingestion, matching logic, and the infrastructure that keeps everything running reliably.

• 🌱 What I’m Exploring:
  System design from the inside out — database internals, software networking, concurrency, queues, and distributed systems. I’m also exploring AI engineering, with a focus on practical LLM workflows, embeddings, and search systems that ship to production.

  Backend-heavy products built with Python, TypeScript, Django, NestJS, FastAPI, especially systems with real users, real traffic, and real trade-offs.
