Thanks for fixing them. Though I'm curious as to why/when this behavior changed.
Me too, I spent some time trying to find the change but wasn't able to. It may have been intentional -- as the wrong links with enter and exit show, the old auto-linking could easily lead to incorrect links.
This PR is stale because it has been open for 30 days with no activity.
Thanks @akulakov for the PR, and @serhiy-storchaka for merging it 🌮🎉.. I'm working now to backport this PR to: 3.9, 3.10.
